Went with grandaughter on New Years Eve to see "Enchanted". When it first started it was an animation, not my favourite thing and I said to Carrie "I didn't know this was a cartoon" but she told me it would soon change and the characters came to life. It was so funny as the prince was well over the top and when he changed into a real man he was still the same. The princess was pushed down a well by the wicked Queen and she came up in a sewer in New York as a real woman. Her dress was so big that she couldn't get out of the manhole or through any doors.
It was quite a sweet lighthearted film and everyone came out of the cinema smiling which is always a good sign.

I thought that it was a bit...how should i put this lightly....bizarre. I don't think there really was a story-line...it was all a bit too fairy-tale-ish to me, i didn't really like mixing the two worlds together. Especially the witch and the poisonous apple, it's so snow white!
