Day 14 and it's finally time for Molly MacDonald. Starring in almost every episode, Molly had some great moments. Arriving by helicopter at the start of Series 4? Water skiing in the same episode with Kilwillie? What a gal! ;D
Indeed, whata gal! Our dear founder's favourite I think?
Such a lady is Molly. Quietly putting up with her eccentric husband's antics and having quite a few of her own. Always being the wife of the laird, never in the limelight. Having her own little idiosynchronies, a bit of betting on the side (hiding in the cupboard), wearing strange gear! Always the loving mother.
I like to think of when there was no heating in the big house and she 'invited' Hector to share her bedroom for an 'old fashioned way of keeping warm' ;D
Molly, dear Molly Funny at some moments : when she always said ' Dear' to everyone in Court Lady Molly, at the Ball at the end of series 4, dancing the tango with Kilwillie. Gardener Molly, always busy with the flowers
My best memory of Molly was the cheeky schoolgirl prank when Killwillie pinched the barrel of whisky then when he reached his speedboat no keys, there was Molly on the Loch side jingling the keys and placing them down her blouse, I forget what Killwillie's said but the expression on his face said it all.
