Lovely, large garden Marie. My twitter timeline has come alive with friends in Scotland posting pics of Spring, now blooming after what seems to have been an especially bracing winter. Scenes of some of the flowers and wildlife and coastlines have been stunning. Weather improving here too - might actually get to fly Saturday morning - first time since last November - bit rusty but fingers crossed to get airborne!
Thanks Glen. We do love our garden although as time is going alone we're finding we're happier with shrubs than lots of smaller plants that need more tending. As we're 5 minutes from the North Sea, our gardens blooms about a month after everyone else's in the village because of the salt in the air, we believe. There's about another 20 x 10ft patio where I'm standing taking the photo with a large fish pond and clematis walkway, which isn't in bloom yet although usually is. Down the far end of the garden, you can't quite see it in the pic, is a further raised garden area. As we're getting older we're 'warm weather gardeners' nowadays
Today here a sunny Day, but not as warm anymore as last week. I saw a little field of bluebells here nearby. That reminds me of the UK where we saw lots of bluebells on our trip throughe the Southwest some years ago.
