Thanks Maddie. I actually managed to see it on BBC i player last night. Like Brenda said it was a very sad ending.
One of the characters I was cross with all through the series, was her Mother. What a waste of space she was. Far too wrapped up in her drunken husband to see how much Jess was suffering. Even in the final episode, she was only thinking of herself when she would not tell Angel where to find Jess. Good story though, I think I might read the book now.
LUcky one that you could see it on the site. For the rest there's hardly info on the BBC Drama sites to be seen for people who don't live in the UK. 'Not available' are the only words that you can read !
I missed Merlin last weekend, so next Saturday I hope I wont forget to set my recorder.
Yes, I knew it was going to be a sad ending but it still hit me. I was cross with Angel, surely he could have gone to 'court' or whatever and defended his loved one - his family had pots of money and her deed could have been in self defence, perhaps in today's world she would have got away with her crime. Tess seemed to completely give up when she should have battled on and defended herself. A great story all the same and I enjoyed it.
