I've spoken alot about the South Island of New Zealand with it's stunning scenery so here are some pics. I got them from a local website. I've flown over the Southern Alps which are a large range of mountains running downthe western side of the South Island like a backbone. I last visited this area about 19 years ago and must get down there again in the near future
Amazing photos Lesley, thanks so much for showing them to us. Those lupins are beautiful... we're growing a few from seed in the greenhouse - I don't think they'll come up anywhere as good as those though
What amazing scenery Lesley, thanks for sharing the images. I've never seen lupins before (I'm assuming those are the purple and pinkish flowers alongside the road?) I can't imagine seeing them running along the path, how pretty.
I think my favorite photo is the misty one by the lake -- it looks so serene and peaceful.
