Oh Carolyn, such a beautiful poem, written with such feeling. I'm wiping my eyes now.
Either photo here is perfect for your doggie portrait that you requested, is that okay with you? Although you can perhaps still send, or email, me another one or two? And I'll start on her painting as soon as I'm able.
I’m so sorry to have read of T’hyla’s passing, Carolyn. No loss is felt quite as keenly as that of a beloved pet, the unconditional love offered by our animal friends making sorrow all the more painful. It is clear that she was a well-cared for and loved member of your family and I'm sure she carried your kindness with her in her tiny heart. Your words are a lovely, heartfelt, and dignified tribute to her memory.
Thank you all so much for your very kind words. xx ...
I'm glad that you think the poem was a suitable tribute to a wonderful little dog . We are begining to except it now and remembering all the good times.
Now we have to help our other dog Megan, who sadly is still wondering about looking for her friend. She has dragged T'yhla's toys into her own bed and refuses to let us move them, bless her. It just shows that animals feel loss as much as we do.
