Again, can't remember which one but I loved the episode where Molly and, I think, Golly were sitting on the steps of the house saying how 'she kept remembering the past - that was her trouble, she ought to face the future' - she throws the ball, and turns around to walk inside, and we see the ball bounce back on to the lawn.... spookeeee
I can't remember which episode it was, either. I have forgotten if Useless was there while Molly was painting him. When the ball bounced back, I thought of Hector, not Useless I'll have to look for Useless when I watch Series 5 again...some day!
I can see I'll have to watch these episodes again! Because maybe I'm confusing two different incidents. That one where Molly and Golly are sitting on the steps, and the ball bounces back and I recall Useless looking up to an 'invisible' Hector on the lawn. Probably the episodes straight after the funeral.
Paul you have a lot to answer for as you have me hooked on this now, yes in tonights re-run SERIES 6 EPISODE 1 Useless has a 2 second spot running ahead of Molly to find the orchids missing in the wood, someone please put me out of my misery or do I have to watch all the remaining??
I thought I would shift this posting to this thread as it seemed quite appropriate: (from a few years ago) "My latest effort, never having painted a dog before...Useless, (actually fits my description of it as well ) I'm not at all happy with it but it was more difficult than I thought. I found the kitties and landscapes much easier! but I'm fed up with this one now and will move on."
The ball was a golf ball -- hence the recollection of Hector. The captions (which I use because of my deafness) indicate the sound effect of a ball being struck by a club, and the ball lands in the stone flower pillar by the lawn.
It's a bit like when you get a question at work or in a conversation, when no one knows the answer, it plays on your mind till you find the answer. Someone at work today had the Great Escape theme on their phone and now I can't stop singing it to myself Hope that makes sense otherwise as they say around here I'm a sandwitch short of a picnic.
