Hi folks well I haven't been on here for a while, I've been just so busy!! Well those who know me, know that I'm a relieving teacher in New Zealand
My daughter Reinah (pron Rayna) is visiting Marie and her husband Jeff on Monday...I can hardly believe it!! I've never met Marie and Jeff in person (only via Skype) but very soon my daughter Reinah, Marie & Jeff will be talking to me via skype from their home in England
My daughter is on her OE (overseas experience) and has set out from New Zealand then onto Australia, Thailand, Dubai, Germany (Frankfurt), Austria, Switzerland, Italy (Turin), Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria then back to Austria and Germany where she's catching a flight to London. On arrival, she's travel ling east by train to Clacton where Marie and Jeff are going to meet her....I'm so excited and so is Reinah My daughter has been back packing (carrying 20kgs), by herself and staying in various hostels in Europe. She bought a Euro rail pass which has been very cheap and handy
Marie, thank you so much for looking after my girl while she's with you. I hope to do the same one day if/when you and Jeff visit me here in New Zealand Here's a pic of Reinah in Dracula's Castle, Transylvania, Romania
What a lovely few days we've had with Lesley's daughter! She's a smashing fun girl. The weather has been awful whilst she's been here, which is a shame. We went to our local larger town of Colchester (the oldest recorded town in the UK) and did lots of window shopping..
and also in and around the castle.
She goes off London today, we'll reallly miss her.
We loved having her here, a 'breath of fresh air' Such a shame she saw our town in these awful weather conditions, just like winter! I hope she manages to find work to enable her to carry on with her extensive travels.
