Although Hector was a bit odd and some of his hairbrain schemes left a lot to the imagination I had a thought one pehaps out of the book of Hector regarding the current Worldwide situation. As it appears the problem started in China, now as China is one of the World’s highest polluters could this not be the planets way of a warning to us all of the damage we are doing. I noticed an article in the Daily Mail showing the canals of Venice which for the first time in decades had crystal clear water flowing, it would be interesting to see a worldwide map on how the current pollution levels have dropped due to our inactivity Caused by the virus, just a thought?
Yes I saw that too, dolphins were actually swimming into the city. From odd bits Iv'e seen on TV it seems the air pollution over China and Northern Italy have dropped dramatically during the lockdown, and the reduction in flights is starting to have an effect over Europe. It will be interesting to see if anything changes after this is over. I saw an article online, that the dog sled business near Aviemore is closing down because of lack of snow, which they put down to global warming. I'm sure Hector would have a lot to say!
Yes you certainly notice the birds more Marie, one or two different species I can’t put a name to, Kasie our little Lassie dog loves to watch them, there is a Robin that regularly comes to the bay windows just to tease her. Nice to hear from you and hopefully will be not to long before we can get back to some kind of normality.
Yes but it has grown by one, we have a Lassie collie as well now, we asks a lady from Dunfermline some years ago about a rough collie she had a litter last year they all sold but a woman in Ireland refused to take the one as it had a hernia so we ended up with her, I wanted to call her Lassie but we comprimised and called her Kassie, will try to post a picture of her.
Glad you’re all okay. We bought a sprocker (deliberate cross of cocker and springer) 4.5 years ago. He’s so energetic, absolutely mad, but has the good qualities of both breeds. He’s calming down a little bit now. Really keeps us fit with walks along the beach and fields 😁
Oh I love the photo of the Glenbogle 3, thank you for that. Cheers up another glum day. It’s so nice to hear from you again Marie. I read here a while before I posted so I remember you well. Just wish we were all in happier times but hopefully it will all improve soon.
