Just wondered what everyone else was doing to pass the time during the lockdown, just heard we could be in this same state of affairs until the end of June. With all the businesses and sporting facilities threatening they will go out of businesses made me think about Rangers football club some years ago. Rangers were demoted to the bottom tear of Scottish football through financial mismanagement and irregularities or words to that effect. Anyway I always remember the newspapers and other top flight teams bleeting that it would be the ruin and end of Scottish football and they wouldn’t survive, however it turned out to be a blessing for the lower league clubs and guess what when Rangers got back to the top flight league low and behold little had changed and all were present and correct. So the moral of the story is that some good I don’t know what will come out of this awful pandemic so lets keep our chins up and wait fot the light at the end of the tunnel to get bigger and brighter.
I have been watching my old Dads Army and Tommy Cooper DVD’S, also there was on ITV 3 a re-run of a drama called the Sydicate which I really enjoyed and reminded me of my promise to all boglies to hire The Gillies Rest when my numbers come in, hope yo7 are all keeping safe and best wishes from Ayrshire.
It has been sunny and warm the last few days so catching up in the garden mainly. Have lots of jobs indoors to do, long overdue, so if it's cold again next week I will have no excuse! I love all the Dad's Army series too, have seen them all many times but they always come up fresh. And they certainly take your mind off the awfulness of the news for a while. Take care and keep safe everyone.
